Our parish is blessed with a number of qualified, faith-centered individuals who make a yearly commitment to serve as catechists, aides, and support staff. Our catechists (teachers) have participated in ongoing training and certification by the Diocese as catechists.

In accordance with Diocesan policies and guidelines, all adults in the Program have on file state background checks and have met all requirements for workig with children and young people. This includes participation in the "Protecting God's Children" session.

The R. E. staff meets periodically throughout the year to assess the Program and discuss areas of concern or in need of attention. In addition, "in-service" learning sessions are provided. All staff members are encouraged to take advantage of the numerous educational and spiritual opportunities in the Aurora Deanery. The D. R. E. will provide information to the R. E. staff about upcoming events.
