    Groups & Activities

    Here at St. Peter Parish, we have many activities for you to join in and experience fellowship at a deeper level. Our Church activities not only promote our values and help build lifelong friendships, but they also help the community.

    Parish Programs

    Adult Choir
          Members of the parish with musical ability are cordially invited to join and assist with liturgies. Learn more.
    Youth Choir
      Young people of the parish from Grades 4 through High School are encouraged to join. This choir sings once a month at Sunday liturgies and at special occasions. Learn more.
    Lectors

    Members of the parish are invited to read the Scripture readings at Mass. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in becoming a Lector.

    Ushers
    High School and adult members of the parish are invited to be greeters and ushers at liturgies. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in becoming an Usher.
    Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
    High School and adult members of the parish are invited to assist at Mass or in taking the Eucharist to the sick and shut-ins of the parish by becoming Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in assisting with the Eucharist.
    Altar Servers
    Boys and girls of the parish from Grade 5 through High School age are invited to assist at Mass by becoming alter servers. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in being a server.
    Altar and Rosary Society
    All ladies of the parish are invited to join the Altar and Rosary Society. This group meets once a month and provides a valuable service to the parish by serving as hostesses of various parish functions, funeral luncheons, and Basket Bingo.
    Environmental Assistants
    All adult members of the parish (both men and women) are cordially invited to assist in the changing of the church environment at the different liturgical seasons of the year. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in helping with this valuable service to the parish. Work Dates

    Boy and Girl Scout Programs

     

    The parish sponsors two programs for young people to become involved in the Scouts which offer opportunities for them to become involved in valuable services to both the parish and the community. Please contact Mike and Diane Allison at 630-585-5110 if your child is interested in becoming a Scout.  Adult volunteers are also invited to assist with the Scout Programs.
